Top seed Serena Williams scored a record 61st victory at the Australian Open on Friday (17/01).
World number one who won it five times in Australia defeated Daniela Hantuchova 6-3, 6-3 and advanced to the fourth round.
Click on Serena's new record surpassed the previous record holder number, Margaret Court.
When asked where his favorite game, which Williams debuted in Melbourne at the age of 16 years in 1998, replied, "All that I win the final."
Many people are unsure if Serena can win his sixth title after watching the performance in the field.
If he managed to become a champion again, then Serena will equal the record held by Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova with 18 Grand Slam titles.
"I feel happy to win because the conditions are very tough," Serena said referring to the hot temperatures that reached 36 Celsius Australia.
